Graduation and Certificate Award Ceremony at TNEU
On December 15, a significant event took place at the Ternopil National Economic University - the graduation ceremony of the ninth class of the Retraining Soldiers Programme within the framework of "Ukraine - Norway" project.
The project "Ukraine - Norway" is one of the largest international projects of Ukraine. It has been successfully implemented since 2014 in TNEU. In the course of professional retraining, its participants receive assistance in legal adaptation, psychological rehabilitation, employment and organization of their own business.
The main objective of the project is to reduce the impact of negative social consequences of economic reforms and reforms of the Ukrainian defense sector for dismissed servicemen and their families, as well as to promote cooperation between the two countries.
As of 2018 more than 8,000 Ukrainians have benefited from the program, because today such project is more than ever relevant.
The diplomas of graduation were presented by the Military Attache of the Kingdom of Norway, Lieutenant Colonel Boye Garder Lillerud and Project Coordinator from the International Foundation for Social Adjustment Olga Filina. The celebratory event began with the speech of the rector of TNEU Andriy Krysovatyy.
During the awarding ceremony, everyone had the opportunity to pose questions to guests and project organizers. Most participants were interested in the further fate of the project, since all graduates claimed that it was definitely useful, informative, and most importantly, it gave them a chance to change their lives.
After the ceremony, the organizers and participants made a commemorative photo and went to the exhibition hall, where they could talk to each other in an informal setting, and watched an interesting concert.
